Dr. Anju Agarawal

Dr. Anju Agarwal is an accomplished scientist and an entrepreneur. In her scientific research capacity, Dr. Agarwal developed an interest in cancer drug development and began to identify novel drug candidates for Acute Myeloid Leukemia and to explore their mechanisms of action. In 2012, Dr. Agarwal decided to start her own pharmaceutical company (MiRx Pharmaceuticals Ltd) to develop anti-cancer drugs. Due to her interest in early childhood education, Dr. Agarwal has also invested in Childcare services (Loving Cup Kids Academy) in Northeast Ohio region since 2008.  Dr. Agarwal serves as Chief Executive Officer of both her companies, MiRx. Pharmaceuticals and Loving Cup Kids Academy Childcare.  Dr Agarwal has published several research articles in leading international journals and received several young investigator and scientific awards. She was also nominated as captain of Judges at multiple Science and Engineering fairs promoting School age Children for their interest in research and development.
