The Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross), through the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS), is funding the renovation and construction of Rehabilitation Centers and Public Health Clinics in Mogadishu, Galkayo and Hargeisa.
Scope of services includes assessment of the existing buildings for structural soundness and suitability, a review of the contractors’ Bill of Quantities and engineering drawings, preparation of the tender documents, the evaluation of tenders and selection of the contractors together with SRCS and NorCross. Post procurement scope includes supervision to ensure that the renovations are taking place according to the agreed-upon timeframe and expected quality, quality assurance of the works based on the agreed designs and specifications and health and safety standards.
