Facility improvement of Keysaney Hospital, Somalia

Keysaney Hospital is a war-wounded surgical hospital in Mogadishu which provides surgical operations and medical emergencies to the people affected by the conflict. The hospital is run by the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) with support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Scope of services includes overseeing the design, procurement and execution of a new Fistula Ward, expansion of other facilities, and repair and renovation of old walls, columns and boundary walls. As part of procurement and supervision, the scope covered a review of the contractors’ Bill of Quantities and engineering drawings, preparation of the tender documents, the evaluation of tenders, supervision to ensure that the renovations are taking place according to the agreed-upon timeframe and expected quality, quality-assurance of the works based on the agreed designs and specifications and health and safety standards.
